It is my Open University book: "Siena, Florence and Padua: Art Society and Religion 1280-1400: Volume II: Case Studies"

I'm trying to write an essay (due in on Friday - ugg!) on the Town Halls of the three cities - that's chapter 2, and that's why it's on my desk. P161 is the Chapter on the paintings of the Sala dei Nove in the Palazzo Pubblico in Siena, in particular "The Effects of Good Government on the City Life!

And yes, it is fascinating. Here are the images:

So when you 'nudged' I thought that life wasn't actually being very exciting, and this would be more interesting than talking about the rain.
